Arrival at Svolvær Airport: collect luggage and pick up rental car for self-drive trip.
Drive to Svolvær town and check in to hotel. Explore harbour, waterfront walks, local cafés, and Arctic atmosphere at leisure.
Drive: ~6 km (~10 mins). Overnight in Svolvær.
Breakfast at hotel. Drive southwest along E10 scenic route toward Reine on Moskenes Island past fjords and steep mountains.
Recommended stops: Henningsvær fishing village and Lofotr Viking Museum at Borg. Continue as peaks rise directly from sea.
Drive: ~130 km (~2 hrs). Overnight in Reine (traditional rorbu accommodation).
Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure exploring Moskenes region fjords, mountain views, and Reine surroundings.
Optional activities: hiking marked trails (e.g., Reinebringen), biking, kayaking, fishing trips, or scenic drives to viewpoints.
Flexible local driving. Overnight in Reine (traditional rorbu accommodation).
Breakfast at hotel. Full day at leisure to further explore southern Lofoten.
Optional activities: additional hikes, photography stops, coastal drives, or relaxing and enjoying views from Reine.
