Drive ~249 km / 154 mi along south coast. Visit Seljalandsfoss (walk behind misty curtain), Skógafoss (winter setting, trail alongside falls), and nearby Skógar Folk Museum (Icelandic history, turf farm, exhibits).
Overnight in Kirkjubæjarklaustur area.
Drive ~250 km / 155 mi. Visit Skaftafell in Vatnajökull National Park (optional guided glacier hike/climbing requires licensed guide). See Fjallsárlón and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoons (icebergs), Diamond Beach (polished ice), and possible northern lights (not guaranteed).

Drive ~203 km / 126 mi back along south coast toward Vík. Revisit missed sights or black sand beach (caution: dangerous rogue waves/undertows) for Reynisdrangar and Dyrhólaey at sunset. Optional activities: ice cave tour, black sand ATV ride, glacier hike, or snowmobiling.

Drive ~193 km / 119 mi along Golden Circle route: visit Gullfoss waterfall, Haukadalur geothermal area (Geysir and active Strokkur erupting every few minutes), UNESCO Þingvellir National Park (walk tectonic plate rift valley), and Kerið crater.

Drive ~139 km / 86 mi. Travel volcanic Reykjanes Peninsula fissure zone. Explore Krýsuvík and Seltún geothermal field (fumaroles, mud pots, hot springs). Optional visit to Blue Lagoon geothermal spa among lava formations (pre-booking required).
