Pick up rental car at Svolvær Airport; drive to town (~6 km / 10 min). Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring Svolvær, the Lofoten capital, including the harbor, waterfront walks, and cafés under summer’s long daylight hours.
Overnight in Svolvær.
Drive southwest along E10 to Reine (~130 km / 2 hrs). Stop at Henningsvær fishing village and Lofotr Viking Museum in Borg while taking in dramatic coastal scenery, fjords, and steep peaks rising from the sea.
Overnight in Reine rorbu accommodation.
Full day at leisure in Moskenes. Enjoy fjords and mountain views around Reine. Optional activities: hiking marked trails like Reinebringen, biking, kayaking, fishing trips, or scenic drives to local viewpoints.
Overnight in Reine rorbu accommodation.
Second full day at leisure in southern Lofoten. Spend time on optional hikes, photography stops, scenic coastal drives, or relaxing and taking in the coastal views directly from Reine.
Overnight in traditional Reine rorbu accommodation.
Drive back toward Svolvær (~130 km / 2 hrs). En route, visit historic Nusfjord, one of Norway’s oldest preserved fishing villages (entry fee extra), before continuing through Leknes along scenic coastal roads.

Drive to Svolvær Airport (~6 km / 10 min), return rental car, and prepare for your onward flight departure.
