Arrive in Finland’s Arctic region, meet your tour escort and transfer by coach to Basecamp Oulanka near Oulanka National Park. Settle in and enjoy a welcome briefing over dinner introducing the region, activities, and experiences.
Overnight in Oulanka Region.
Breakfast at hotel. Prepare Arctic equipment, then join a guided snowshoe exploration of Oulanka National Park, passing frozen rapids and following the Kitkajoki River. Afternoon free for snowshoeing, sauna/hot tub, or optional kick sledging.
Overnight in Oulanka Region.
Breakfast at hotel. Travel by coach to a husky farm near Riisitunturi National Park. Learn sled handling and dog care before a guided husky sled journey through forest landscapes. Enjoy the Arctic surroundings before returning to Basecamp.

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer by coach to Juuma Lake for cross-country skiing instruction. Build confidence before skiing across snow-covered terrain and open lake surroundings. Afternoon free for further practice and exploration.

Breakfast at hotel. Visit a reindeer farm and museum, enjoy a traditional sleigh ride, learn about reindeer herding culture, and have refreshments by an open fire. Later, transfer by coach to Ruka for optional downhill skiing or snowmobile excursions.

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a relaxed morning, then prepare pancakes over an open fire. In the afternoon, join guided snow activities including snow fort building, sculpture creation, and winter games. Refreshments provided.

Breakfast at hotel. Spend the day at leisure using Basecamp facilities or exploring nearby surroundings. Optional activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, natural sites, or resort winter sports. Enjoy a farewell dinner.

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a relaxed final morning in Oulanka Region. Transfer by coach for departure as your Arctic Basecamp journey concludes.
